Today, Port Alberni’s amazing kayaking opportunities shine on their own. With quick and easy access to the Broken Group Islands in Barkley Sound, Port Alberni is a logical launch town for many mind-blowing kayaking expeditions and day trips.
Much of Barkley Sound is located in Pacific Rim National Park. For this reason you’ll want to make sure that you’ve checked in with the Pacific Rim National Park rules and regulations.
